The Athens Fibercraft Guild meets on the second Tuesday of the month, 12:30p, September – May, at the Lyndon House Arts Center, 211 Hoyt Street, Athens GA 30601. For the 2020-21 year, we are meeting via Zoom. If you are interested in attending the November Zoom Meeting, email Linda Greiss at

This year’s December 8, 2020 AFG meeting will be held via Zoom at 12:30 p.m.  The program is our Handmade Gift Exchange which is always wonderful and so much fun! All those participating responded to an email sent out to current members by the president, Linda Greiss.  The names of all who wanted to participate were then placed in a hat and drawn to match one member with another to whom they were to send their wrapped handmade gift.  The gifts should be saved until the 8th and will be opened during the Zoom meeting. We will also have ‘Show n’ Tell’. Looking forward to seeing everyone, even if you chose not to participate in the gift exchange.

The Athens Fibercraft Guild welcomes all amateur and professional fiber artists including knitters, crocheters, weavers, spinners, fabric designers, basket makers, quilters and embroiderers who share their talents. Although meetings are normally held on the second Tuesdays of the months September through June at the Lyndon House Arts Center, 211 Hoyt St., Athens, GA and feature programs about the fiber arts, we now meet via Zoom.  Members are sent email invitations to join the meetings.
